Aidan McCoy

Hi! My name is Aidan and I'm a Cincinnati, Ohio based artist, who is currently in his fifth year as a Fine Arts student in the Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP) program at the University of Cincinnati.

I make art surrounding religion, nature, and how that ties into me. I aim to understand the tools and history of my practice. Namely Appalachian Conjure, one of the many names for the practice of witchcraft in Appalachia. I have a family line that leads deep into the mountains, as well as a line of witches that dates back to the witch trials and before. I am a printmaker and photographer.
